A few days ago we knew the news, officially provided by Microsoft, that Windows 10 had already reached the 300 million users worldwide. The growth of the new Redmond operating system has been absolutely spectacular and despite the many reluctance on the part of a large number of users to make the move to new Windows, it seems that everything is beginning to flow in the right direction.
Proof of this is that Windows 10, after exceeding 20% of world share, already has become the most widely used operating system in the United States, reaching a market share in that country of almost 30%.
The new software has had a hard time surpassing Windows 7, but since yesterday it has officially surpassed it, although as we usually say, only in the United States. In the rest of the world, the market share of Windows 7 is still much higher than that of Windows 10, but as in the North American country, it will happen sooner or later.
Here we show you data provided by StatCounter, where we can see that Windows 10 has managed to surpass Windows 7, although only by a few tenths;
Microsoft has achieved what was possibly the first goal with the new Windows 10, which was none other than to make it the most used operating system in the United States, one of its reference markets, but now it has to take the next step that is none other than to get down from the summit in which Windows 7 is found , to put your new software there.
When do you think Windows 10 will be the most used operating system in the world?. Tell us your opinion in the space reserved for comments on this post or through any of the social networks in which we are present.
