Asus just unveil the Transformer 3 Pro at Computex 2016 in Taiwan. This 2-in-1 is made of aluminum, is 8,33mm thick and features a diamond cut that gives it a unique visual appearance.
The device is characterized by a 12,6-inch screen with 2880 x 1920 resolution and a pixel density of 275. It has an integrated cover that allows it to be placed anywhere with great versatility as can be seen in the images provided by Asus itself.
The Transformer 3 Pro works thanks to a Intel Core i7 processor and it has a 1TB PCie x4 SSD and 16GB of 2133MHz RAM. The USB Type-C connector provides speeds of up to 10Gbps and Thunderbolt 3 allows data transfers of up to 40Gbps and support for dual 4K UHD external displays. It also has USB 3.0 and HDMI ports.
This new Asus device has a 13 MP rear camera and a front with Windows Hello facial recognition technology that allows password-free login. Also includes front stereo speakers with Harman Kardon audio.
Asus wanted to include a Asus Pen with 1024 levels of precision for natural note taking and quick sketches. Another cool accessory for the Transformer 3 Pro is the Asus Universal Dock hub that offers connectivity ports including USB-C 3.1, USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, RJ45 LAN, and a three-in-one SD card reader.
