How to clean and optimize your Windows 10 registry

Microsoft

One of the elements that we have to take care of to keep our Windows 10 in good condition is the system log. An interesting element that can make our system work very well or simply not even turn on the session.

One of the simplest and fastest processes for its conservation is cleaning and optimizing it, something that can be quick and easy if we do not have a very bad system, otherwise it may be slow but it is not a very difficult task.

CCleaner allows you to optimize the Windows registry in a simple way

To perform this operation always I usually use the CCleaner program, a tool that in addition to cleaning your Windows registry helps you perform other maintenance tasks. CCleaner has a fully functional free version that we can get from here and whose installation is typical in Windows: just press «next» or «next». Once we have installed the program, we go to the "registry" tab and as it is we press the "Search for Problems" button after which it will begin to search for problems in our Windows registry.

When you're done, a huge list of items that are problematic will appear. You can read and see what problems are and uncheck those that you consider dangerous or leave it as is. Once this is done we press the button «Repair selected». CCleaner will ask you if you want to backup your registry or not, the safest thing is to say yes after which it will start to create a backup and then continue with the cleanup.

If you trust the tool and your registration, then click "no" and the process will continue. In the case of dll libraries, CCleaner will ask you if you want to repair that library or repair all. As before, you choose what you want to repair and continue. With this, the Windows registry will be clean and optimized, at least in part. It is always good to pass it two or three times so that the registry is completely cleaned.

As you can see, it is a quick and easy simple that does not cost anything and that will make us have our Windows in full shape and at least maintain its speed.
