The copy and paste functions are quite useful on many occasions, since in this way you can avoid writing large amounts of text, among other functions. However, the truth is that for quite some time it had not evolved much, being available only once for use from the clipboard.
That is why, with the arrival of Windows 10, it has been possible to integrate a most useful function in this regard. His name is Clipboard History y can be used perfectly without the need for any installation, since it comes standard with Windows. Now, there are users who are unaware of this function or who are not clear on how it can be used correctly, so we are going to show you how it works.
This is how the Clipboard History in Windows 10
As we mentioned, in this case we are talking about a function that already comes with Windows 10 as standard, and that can be very useful in certain cases. However, by default it usually comes without activating. If you are interested, you can go to the configuration of your equipment (by pressing Windows + I or from the Start menu), choosing "System" on the initial screen, and then selecting "Clipboard" In the left side. Finally, you will only have to choose the option to activate in "Clipboard History".
Once you have done this, in order to use it you must start having something copied from the standard way. You can select any text or element and copy it by pressing Control + C or using the right mouse button, as you wish. Then, to access the history, you will have to memorize and press the key combination Windows + V.
In this way, already with the different copied fragments, to be able to choose which one you want to paste, you just have to press the aforementioned Windows + V combination. When you do this, if you are already located in a place where you can write, you will see how the clipboard appears in a pop-up window, where with the keyboard arrows or with the mouse you can choose the text to paste and it will be correctly placed.
Undoubtedly one of the most useful functions of Windows 10. It is highly recommended to have it active, especially if you work a lot with word processors such as Word or similar 😉
I'm glad that José has been useful to you, greetings.
