How to delete images from our user account in Windows 10

If you are one of the users who like to customize any element that lends itself to it, Windows 10 offers us endless options available in this regard. Every time we log out or start our computer from scratch, before entering our Windows users, the name and image of the users who have an account on that computer are displayed on the screen, so that Let's select the one we want to enter with.

If we only have one registered user, only the user with the corresponding image will be displayed, an image that if we have associated with our Outlook or Hotmail account will be the same. Fortunately, within the configuration options that Windows offers us, we can change the image of our user as many times as we want.

But, as we add new images, because we have already tired of the ones we have used so far, we will most likely want to remove them from our computer, so that they are not shown again as an available option the next time we want to. modify the image that our user account shows us.

Delete pictures from user accounts in Windows 10

These images as a rule barely take up space on our hard drive, so if we want to save space on our hard drive, this is not the best way to get it. All these images are located in the C drive directory "Users \ Username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Account Images". Sometimes, depending on the country where we are, it is likely that the last directory is called "AccountPictures" instead of "Account Images", which is the same but in English.

Once we are in that directory, we just have to delete all the images that are in the directory as long as the image that our account currently shows us corresponds to the one associated with the Outlook or Hotmail account. If not, We must only leave the image that corresponds to the image that our user account shows.
