If our Windows 10 computer is used by other people, either at home or at work, it is likely that if the other person he does not know our language well, we are forced to change the language of our copy of Windows 10.
Fortunately, Windows 1o allows us to perform this task quickly and easily, so the knowledge to do it is not very extensive. Natively, every time we install Windows on a computer, automatically it is installed in addition to the language we have selected, in our case, Spanish, also English.
Specifically, the language pack is installed American English, not the British English that we may be more used to. If we want to add another language other than American English, through the Windows configuration options we can carry out the process quickly if we carry out the steps detailed below.
- First, we must access the options of Configuration Windows 10, through the keyboard shortcut Windows key + i. Or, we can do it through the start button and clicking on the gear wheel located just above the button to turn off the computer.
- Next, click on Region and language.
- Within the Preferred Languages section, all the languages that we have installed on our computer are displayed. In a native way, as I have commented, you will find the Spanish and American English.
- To add a new language, we must click on Add a language.
- When clicking on Add a language, a list will be displayed with all the available languages that we can download and install on our computer.
- Next to each language, the options for each are shown by means of icons: language, speech text, speech recognition and handwriting.
- To install a language, we just have to select it and click on Next.
- Then it will show if we want to set it as Windows language once we install its, along with the space occupied by both speech recognition and the handwriting recognition system.
