The Windows 10 taskbar is made up of different icons that show us the information that we may need on a regular basis, to activate or deactivate, access its properties ... Within the Windows customization options, we can add and / or remove the icons that are displayed on the task bar.
Windows has always been characterized as one of the operating systems that more options it offers us when it comes to customizing the equipment. Within the customization options related to visual information, the one related to the taskbar may be one of the most interesting for each user.
The customization options for the icons displayed on the taskbar are not only related to native Windows applications, but also allows us to add icons of the applications we use regularly and that, as a general rule, have the option to start every time we log into Windows.
For customize icons that are displayed on the taskbar, we must perform the following steps:
- First, we must access the Windows configuration options through the keyboard shortcut Windows key + i. We can also access it through the cogwheel button that is displayed on the Windows start button.
- Among all the options that are displayed, we must click on Personalization.
- In the left column of the menu Customization, click on Taskbar and in the right column in Select the icons that appear on the taskbar.
- Next, all the applications compatible with Windows login will be shown and that allow us set the icon on the taskbar .
By clicking on these icons, we can access all the options offered by the application and that is usually available in the drop-down menu located at the beginning of the right part of the taskbar where these icons are found.
