Windows 10 integrates the Mail application natively, an application that allows us to manage our email accounts in a very simple and visual way, without having to resort to complex applications that offer us a large number of functions but that we will never use.
Among the different options that the Mail application offers us, today we talk about the possibility of disable notifications of the new emails we receive, notifications that can sometimes become more of a problem than a productivity solution.
While it is true that Windows 10 offers us the function Concentration assistant, function that deactivates all the notifications we receive, calendar alerts, system messages ... sometimes we are not interested in deactivating each and every one of them at once, especially those related to the calendar.
The Mail application, allows us to configure, account by account, if we want to receive notifications of the new emails we receive, a very useful option when we use an account only to register for web services and only receive advertising, well, more like SPAM.
Disable notifications for new Windows 10 emails Through the Mail application it is a very simple process that we detail below:
- First, we must open the mail application and click on the gear wheel that if you place it at the bottom of the inbox in order to access the configuration options.
- Next, in the column shown on the right side of the application, click on Notifications.
- Within Notifications, we must select from which account of those that we have configured in the application, we want to stop receiving notifications.
- Finally, we must deactivate the switch Show notifications in the action center.
