Screenshots have always been a need for many users, either to save an image that we cannot download on our computer, to save an article on our computer (there are better solutions for this), to attach it to a job, share it with other friends ...
Microsoft makes available to us through Windows 10 different ways to be able to take screenshots, either with the Snipping application or through the keyboard shortcut Shift + Windows Key + S. However, in Edge Chromium we have another additional method that allows us to take screenshots of web pages.
If you usually take the captures you take while you are browsing, it is likely that you will be interested in the method that Edge offers us. To take a screenshot, we just have to press the keys Shift + Control + S.
At that moment, a floating menu will be displayed that offers us two options:
Free selection
If we want to keep only one image or one specific area of a web page, we must click on Select free. This option allows us to capture a specific area, an area that we will delimit with the mouse.
Once we have made the section, two options will be displayed: Copy and Add Notes. To save the capture on our computer, we must click on Add notes and then on the save button.
Full page
If what we want is to make a screenshot of the entire page where we are, not only what is seen, we will click on Full Screen.
Once the full screen capture has been made, the entire image will be displayed in which we will be able to make annotations (if applicable) or directly save it on our computer.
