When Windows 10 undergoes one of the big updates (the one in autumn and spring), when we start up again, we get one animation that starts with a message saying "Hello". Once the process is over, we can use the equipment normally again. But the reality is that the animation that appears on the screen is useless, so many want to eliminate it.
The good news is that Windows 1o gives us the possibility to eliminate this animation at all times. Although it is important that you know that removing the animation does not cause the updates to be faster. This message is simply lost.
The first thing we have to do is type "regedit" in Cortana's search bar. We will then get a window to open the registry editor in Windows 10. Once inside, we have to go to the following address: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ System. We can search for it or write it in the search bar that this record now has.
Here we have to look for a value with the name of «EnableFirstLogonAnimation«. You have to double click on it, and then a window will appear in which we can change its value. We simply have to set the value as 0 and we give it to accept.
When we have done this, we go to the following route: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon. We go back to look for the same value that we have talked about above, and we change the value again to a 0. We give it to accept and we can now exit the Windows 10 registry editor. With these steps, the process would have been completed.
Therefore, we have already removed this animation from Hello What we get after updating Windows 10. As you can see, the process is very simple, and thus we forget an animation that for many users is annoying. Have these steps been helpful to you?
