However, when it comes to an application, we have to carry out another process, it is not as intuitive but we have it just two mouse clicks away. The first thing we must do is access the Windows volume mixer, by placing the mouse over the volume icon and clicking the right mouse button.
This mixer shows us all the applications that we have open at that moment and they are playing some kind of audio. Through this option, we can raise or lower the volume independently of any application, but in addition, we can also silence them directly.
