Microsoft Planner, a new tool for collaborative work

Microsoft Planner

In the last hours Microsoft has officially presented a new tool that will surely not leave anyone indifferent, it's about Microsoft Planner. This tool is intended to be a software that helps workgroups to work productively as well as many companies.

Thus, Planner has been compared to the Trello appAn app with it is very similar, although Microsoft Planner has some extras that make it one of the best options on the market for both companies and home users.

Microsoft Planner supports OneNote and Outlook

Microsoft Planner is an app that will be offered alongside Office 365, one more complement that is divided into cards where the user can create tasks, jobs and share them with other users. Something that Trello also does, but unlike the latter, Microsoft Planner offers the possibility of integrate and work with other Microsoft services, like Outlook, OneNote or the classic Microsoft Office apps. Another of the positive functions that Microsoft Planner has is the possibility of seeing in real time what the rest of the group's components are doing on the work, so it will be possible to see the milestones in which the group's components are working or in which it has not been worked yet.

Unfortunately this new app will only be available first for Office 365 Premium users and businesses. And it is that Microsoft has focused on its positive aspects for group work or business work, in order to obtain some more benefit from this software. I personally believe that Microsoft should release this software, not only to end users but also to remove it from Office 365 and offer it for free to everyone as it currently does with other software such as Skype or Microsoft Security Essentials, programs that generate trust in Microsoft users.
