Norton doesn't get along with Windows 10

Although it must be recognized that Microsoft has overcome with the latest version of Windows, not everyone likes this operating system or its novelties. We have recently met one of these detractors through a letter, I mean Mozilla, but there are more companies that deny some news of Windows 10. Another of these companies is Symantec, which its antivirus does not seem to get along very well with Microsoft Edge.

Apparently if we use Microsoft Edge as the default browser, Norton will show an alert screen, informing that Norton does not have an extension for the new browser and that security will be compromised. This is solved, according to Norton, using other browsers that do support the Norton extension, such as Internet Explorer. This message is not dangerous since we can close the window and continue with Microsoft Edge without any problem, but it has attracted a lot of attention that this bug has not been solved with an antivirus update.

From Symantec already its users have been informed that it plans to release an extension for the new browser but that they are working on it and that it will not be available until several weeks after the launch of Windows 10. Possibly Norton is not the only antivirus that presents these problems, however with this the controversy is reopened once again about the extent to which a single software should monitor our activity.

Norton needs to be updated to work well with Windows 10

Personally, I think it is positive that the antivirus also monitors our trace in the web browser since it is an open door to security problems, however that an antivirus does not recognize a new basic browser of a new operating system, makes me think that Norton might Maybe it is not the ideal antivirus to use with Windows 10 and of course if it will take that long for Microsoft Edge, it may be the same for any other problem with Windows 10. In summary, Norton is not ready for Windows 10 even though they say yes It works well. And as Norton there will be many other antivirus programs that are the same, what happens is that at the moment only Norton has been caught Will more antivirus like Norton be caught? Is there an antivirus that works well with Windows 10? What do you think? What antivirus do you usually use?
