Microsoft is preparing the table for everything is ready for the day to launch its special Windows 10 Anniversary Update. A day to confirm the great year for those from Redmond in which they have managed to get their decisions right to turn this OS into a great edition.
Now is when Microsoft has updated the minimum specifications for the Windows 10 Anniversay Update for Windows 10 Mobile phones and Windows 10 PCs, laptops and tablets. This opens a wide range to manufacturers of products that have this software integrated.
Microsoft Now Allows Manufacturers to Produce Windows 10 Mobile Devices up to 9 inches in size of the screen, which puts us in front of a series of large devices on the panel in order to create tablets with other shapes and intentions.
At the same time Microsoft is allowing manufacturers to launch tablets, laptops and PCs as small as one with a 7-inch panel can be from the 8 that were previously allowed. This change means that we could find small size PCs that could be what is desired for certain types of users who need a laptop that they can take anywhere without being in the way. GPD would be that portable console or pocket computer that we talked about at the time 4 months ago.
Other changes that can be found is in the list of minimum requirements for Redstone. For Windows 10, Microsoft now requires a minimum of 2 GB of RAM (up from the previous 1 GB) and 16 GB of internal storage for the 32-bit version of the OS and 20 GB for the 64-bit version. For Windows 10 Mobile an auto-flash is needed as well.
While the possible options such as products with a 9-inch tablet, a small and portable PC such as a 7-inch, could be an interesting purchase for some situations and users.
