The following news about Apple's software, Quicktime, has spread through the serious security issues that it entails. Although it was the Trend Micro company that first raised the alarm, warning of the critical security problems that were present in the code of said program, on this occasion it is the United States government itself that denounces these same events. In said software there is a serious vulnerability that could be exploited to attack the computers where it runs.
The fact occurs if a user visits a web page or opens multimedia content that is infected with malicious code. Although at the moment there is no evidence of any infection due to this failure, the high risk it represents makes the authorities of that country fear the worst.
