The Windows 10 Mobile platform grew by 1% in the last month

10 Windows Mobile

It is incredible news but true. The company AdDuplex has seen an increase in the last month on the Windows 10 Mobile platform. An increase that has surprised many and pleased the users of Microsoft's mobile platform who finally receive good news.

Apparently, these users who have appeared with Windows 10 Mobile come from Windows Phone 8.1, an obsolete platform almost abandoned by Microsoft that little by little is losing users.

These data on the growth of Windows 10 Mobile and the fall of Windows Phone 8.1 makes us suspect that the majority of users who leave the platform do so for a device with Android or iOS and only 1% is the one who has updated their mobile.

Windows 10 Mobile has grown due to users who have changed mobile

On the other hand, we also know the devices that are used. Devices that confirm that users are not looking for an expensive or high-performance mobile. In this case, more than 70% of users still use the Lumia 550, followed by the Lumia 650. The Lumia 950 seems that users have not liked it and it is still a terminal little used by Windows 10 Mobile users. Of course, we can ensure with almost all probability that Microsoft their mobile platform does not have fragmentation problems like Google or iOS, since currently there are only users with Windows Phone 8.1 and users with Windows 10 Mobile.

Personally, I am surprised that Microsoft's mobile platform has grown somewhat, it surprises me because it was something that was expected with the launch of the Surface Phone, but taking into account these data, it seems that it is not a good idea to launch a device like the Surface Phone unless they launch a "lite" version. In any case, Microsoft should pay more attention to its ecosystem and launch or promote new apps that make users come to this platform or at least update their mobile more frequently. Do not you think?

That there are no fragmentation problems?

Man, tell those who got stuck on WP 7.8 or WP 8 (including a lot of Huawei buyers) or WP 8.1. And watch out for W10M, because if HP's update rate is low, Acer is threatening not to update several terminals, after continuous problems with them ...
