Windows 10 Creator's Update will offer us a faster way to manage the battery

Windows 10

Microsoft, regardless of who it may be, has always been one of the few companies that has always taken the opinion of its users into account. In fact, they were the ones that got Microsoft to re-offer the Start button, after the release of Windows 8.0, a version that got rid of it, a change that provoked the ire of users. Again Microsoft offers us yet another proof that the guys from Redmond are always aware of what users think or want for their platform: battery management in combination with the power of our PC.

On many occasions, especially when I have to leave the house with my Windows 10 laptop, I am forced to reduce the power of my laptop if I want to be able to carry out all the tasks that I have planned with my computer. If I require more power, I am forced to click on the battery icon and change the power plan, to High performance, which will reduce the battery life depending on the time we use this plan.

If we are running out of battery, and we want to maximize the minutes we have left, we must perform the same key combination to Access the energy plans and select the one that offers the least consumption.

All these tasks take us a while as well as being a complete hassle every time we have to adjust the power, and therefore the battery life of our laptop. To solve this, Microsoft will launch a new option to manage the battery, where we will be able to control the power level of our computer by sliding on a bar.

If we place it to the maximum, to the right, the battery will reduce quickly but we can make the most of the power of our PC. If, on the other hand, we place the level on the left, the power will be reduced to the minimum possible, extending the battery life as long as possible.
