Microsoft has announced that it will begin rolling out a new Game Mode in Windows 10 for a great gaming experience. The Game Mode will improve the performance of the games in those Win32 as well as the UWP (Universal Windows Platform).
Those of Microsoft know well that their operating system is the best for gaming and that eSports have their platform as their home, so they do very well to direct part of the system resources to that mode that will encourage better performance.
This will arrive with the Creators Update later in the year and some elements have started to be deployed to users in the Windows Insider Preview. Announced in October, Windows 10 will get Beam for the Xbox One that will connect your Xbox Live account, making it easier to stream your favorite games to Beam and your Xbox Live community.
The company is also adding updates to feed activity, so you can connect and share much more with your gaming friends.
Mike Ybarra, Head of Platform Engineering for Xbox, stated:
Our goal is to make Windows 10 be the best windows that was made for gaming. With the Creators Update, we have introduced a new feature called Game Mode or Game Mode. Windows Insiders will start to see some of the visuals in that Game Mode later this week, with the feature being fully operational in upcoming builds. Our vision for Game Mode is to optimize your Windows 10 for improved gaming performance.
