While Windows 10 continues to reap successes in the market, Microsoft continues to work on cleaning the way a little towards the possibility of becoming the most used operating system worldwide in a short time. For this, the last decision of the Redmond has been to announce the Windows Vista end of support for April 11, 2017. From that moment on, this software will stop receiving updates.
Windows Vista was launched on the market on January 30, 2007 and it was a very poor success, mainly due to the very high bar that Windows XP had set as the requirements it asked for were very high for the time. It practically did not have a representative market share and we could say that it will go as it came to the world, without pain or glory.
Some of the most important novelties of this operating system were the graphical interface, baptized with the name of Windows Aero, Windows Media Center or Internet Explorer 7. At first this new Windows did not have as they say bad, but with only a few days on the market, we all realized that it would be a resounding failure of Microsoft.
Currently the market share of Windows Vista is 1,41%, so there are not too many users who continue to use this operating system. Of course, if you are one of them, you should start thinking about updating to another version of Windows because as of April 11, 2017, that is to say just in a year, you will be left without support and updates, which may become a major problem.
What memories do you have of Windows Vista and if you are still a user why are you still using this operating system?. Tell us in the space reserved for comments on this post or through any of the social networks in which we are present.
