Virtual reality is hitting hard (Minecraft will have it too) and at the Mobile World Congress in February held in Barcelona it was one of the biggest protagonists. HTC, Samsung and other manufacturers are betting very hard to offer other types of experiences in which Vive, that of the Taiwanese manufacturer, is the one that so far has shown the greatest strength and best experience.
In a report by Nikkei, Masayasu Ito, vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment, stated that there is a possibility that PlayStation VR, Sony's choice for virtual reality, could offer support to PC users in the future. A very interesting alternative for those who acquire this virtual reality experience this year.
PlayStation 4 is the only device on which the launch of the virtual reality experience will be focused that will arrive this year from Sony. It will be fully integrated into the PS4 ecosystem, although the Sony boss has said that there is great potential for taking these experiences from this device to modern PCs.
Although it won't happen very soon, is one of the options that Sony has after they have optimized the PS4 video games that can be used with their option for virtual reality.
PlayStation VR is ready for release for sometime in october for the PS4. An interesting option that can be used later on your own PC. Perhaps this movement has to do with the capabilities of other virtual reality experiences such as HTC's own Vive, which needs a good PC to launch those video games that take us to other experiences. If there is something that Vive stands out for, it is its area of use with 4 × 4 meters.
We will see what does that launch have in store for us in October and if Sony releases more related information.
