Windows 10 Mobile technical requirements are officially changed

Lumia 530 Specifications

A few days ago Microsoft modified the official website on the technical requirements of Windows 10 and its different versions. In essence, these changes are limited to updating the technical requirements of Windows 10 Mobile, requirements that conform to reality.

When Windows 10 Mobile was announced, Microsoft posted on this website technical requirements that They asked for a minimum of 512 Mb of ram as well as 4 GB of internal storage. This was a great relief for many who had mobiles compatible with these requirements but in the end they have not been as accurate as many expected.

A few weeks ago Microsoft recognized that Windows 10 Mobile would not be on terminals with less than 1 Gb of ram and 8 Gb of internal storage. This shocked many users who had terminals with less technical specifications And although in the end Microsoft has gotten away with it, it was not officially reflected, until now.

Windows 10 Mobile technical requirements will never go back

The change has been substantial since the amount of ram will not depend on the size of the screen but it will consist of the resolution of the screen, something that is very different even if we do not believe it. And the minimum amount needed will still be 1 Gb of ram. The truth is that this website will be constantly changing since it indicates the processors compatible with Windows 10 Mobile and not the manufacturer, so as new terminals appear, the documentation will be updated.

The truth is that this change is the certification of bad news for many users, Windows Phone users who expected to receive Windows 10 Mobile but who it seems that they will not finally receive it. This change is one of the facts that has caused many users leave the Microsoft mobile platform, a fact that it seems that Microsoft does not want to rectify or at least it seems that after the change of this documentation. Personally, I think this problem is festering and making this change public does nothing but piss off its users. Hopefully these problems will be solved in other ways.
