WhatsApp announced a few months ago that with the arrival of the new year it would stop supporting its instant messaging application in some very specific versions of various operating systems. Among them is Windows Phone 7, Android 2.2 and also all the iPhone 3GS that worked with iOS 6.
If you use a mobile device with Windows Phone 7 you should know that as of December 31, 2016, or what is the same in a few days, WhatsApp will stop workingr in your terminal. The only option will be that you either change your smartphone, taking advantage of the Three Kings for example or looking for an alternative to continue communicating with friends or family.
In some terminals, the possibility of updating your operating system will also be available. Of course, if you are still using Windows Phone 7 when you have the possibility to update the software of your device someone should give you a little tug on the wrist.
2016 is very close to ending, and with this, WhatsApp support for many operating systems will end, with a very small market share in the market, but which are still used by some users.
