A new update to Windows 10 geared towards games

Windows 10 receives a new update for its version on PC that I will add new features intended for developers and gamers. Specifically, what this update offers is a Full control over vertical image sync (also known as V-Sync) using monitor technologies such as G-sync y FreeSync and the frame rate per second (FPS).

With this new update released by Microsoft, Windows 10 users will have the option to unlock the frame rate of the games and applications that make use of the Universal Applications Platform (UWP), which from now on will also have support for Nvidia's G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync.

Although these are two options that PC gamers are used to seeing in any current video game, until now they were not possible to carry out within the UWP. Games and applications that want to take advantage of this new feature they will have to use an update patch. On the part of the Microsoft company, it is expected that the next games such as Gears of War Ultimate Edition and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex receive their corresponding improvement towards this new feature.

Taking advantage of the announcement, Microsoft also wanted to announce for this year the arrival of numerous games that will use its latest DirectX12 API. The power of this library, in combination with unlocking frames and support for G-Sync or FreeSync, promises a gaming experience with excellent performance. Also there is pending support for mods y overlays promised by the company's division chief, but to get you started, this is very good news.

Have you had a chance to try a game with this new feature? Tell us about your experiences.
