Surely we have all heard of the famous blue screen, a blue screen that appears when the Windows operating system has a fatal error and cannot continue with the process. In general, this blue screen offers concise information without being able to do anything and we can only restart the computer.
The most famous blue screen was the first that appeared during the official presentation of Windows 98, a screen that appeared to Bill Gates, since then it has happened to all of us but it seems that with the new Windows 10 update, the blue screens will not be as blue as before.
The QR codes will be present in the new Blue screen
En build 14316 has been seen with the blue screen now has a QR code that we can use to learn more about the error that our operating system has suffered. The result will be the same since we have to restart the operating system but now we will know why it was and what possible solutions we can apply. It is also said that in the future these QR codes may direct user to specific errors and its possible solution, a change that would not be very problematic for Microsoft but that would solve the lives of many Windows 10 users, especially those who have the Insider program.
In any case, it seems that Microsoft wants to completely change its Windows, including the blue screen issue, something that does not have to be bad and on the other hand we see how once again Microsoft wants to integrate the smartphone as another tool, since the QR codes will be scanned by a smartphone, since it would make little sense for it to be with a Surface Pro 4. Personally I find it interesting, it is a great help but it would have been better for those blue screens to cease to exist, something that is not on other operating systems such as Mac OS or Gnu / Linux.
You are wrong with your last sentence: "it would have been better if those blue screens had ceased to exist, something that is not in other operating systems such as Mac OS or Gnu / Linux.", All operating systems have error screens even Andoid. In both Linux, OSX and Android, they are called "Kernel Panics". They may not be blue, but there are error screens where the system crashes completely. In Android they are very rare to see them, since they usually happen with custom kernels that are defective, it is possible that users who do not use ROOT, Custom ROMs and Kernels will never see a Kenel Panic on Android.
Blue screens just can't be removed. These generally appear due to errors with the computer hardware or poorly made drivers. And it is not that they appear at all hours. I have not seen one since 2012 more or less. It is very sporadic since as I said, they are due to hardware failures or poorly made drivers. If you do frequent maintenance to your equipment and keep the drivers updated, it is very rare that they appear. And in other operating systems such as OSX and Linux they are also due to driver and hardware failures.
