Within Google Drive we find a series of office automation tools of the company, in the cloud. We have shown on more than one occasion how to work with Docs, but it is not the only program that we have available. The best of all is that we will be able to create entirely from the browser, so that we do not need programs that occupy space on our computer. We will simply have to go to our account on Google Drive. From there we will be able to create this form from scratch, which we can use when necessary.
Create form with Google Forms
Inside the cloud, in the upper left we have the option New, on which we are going to click. We will get several options, of which we click on More, the last one. Then On the right, the option to create forms will appear, which is something that is done using Google Forms. Click on this option, so that a new window opens in which we are going to start with the development of this form.
The first thing we are asked to do is give this form a name, plus a description. So that we ourselves know what we are creating this form for, which could be for a study or work topic. Just briefly explain what we want with it. When we have done this, we are ready to start with the questions that we have to write in the form in question.
Google Forms asks us to give each question a name, as is usual. Therefore, we create a kind of statement, in which the question in question is explained, or what is wanted to find out with it is explained, in the case that it is an option to measure satisfaction, for example. Then, we will have the possibility to choose the type of question we want to use. We find several options in this regard such as multiple-choice questions, verification, drop-down lists or questions in which we want the user to give a written answer. We can choose this in the questions.
If we already have this question created and we want to go to the next one, on the right side we will see that there is a + symbol. It is on which we have to press to add new questions in this form in Google Forms. We can add all the questions we want, the type we want. The idea is to configure this to our liking. In addition, this tool gives us many customization options in the questions, which are sure to be of interest to many users.
Google Forms allows adding photos or videos in questions. So if you were planning to make a form based on a video, you can insert the video at the beginning and then create the questions. Or if you want a question about a specific photo, to see if it has been observed correctly, you can upload a photo below the statement and then enter the question. In this sense, we can configure many aspects of the tool, which makes its use especially simple and comfortable.
When you have finished creating the form, you just have to hit send at the top of the screen. This option allows you to send the form to other people by email or other methods.
