How to remove your phone number from Facebook

Facebook

Millions of users make use of Facebook, the most popular social network worldwide. It is likely that many of you have your phone number associated with the social network. Although due to the many privacy and security scandals that have happened in recent months, you want to remove that phone number. The way to do it is very easy.

We have to do it from Facebook itself. Here we show you the steps that we have to continue in this case to be able to delete our phone number of the social network. So don't have this data stored.

We enter the website of the social network first. Once inside, we have to click on the down arrow icon, where we find access to other functions. From the list that is displayed when clicking on this icon, we then have to click on the configuration option.

Delete phone number

When we are already within the Facebook configuration, we have to look at the left side of the screen. In it we find a section called Mobile, next to the icon of a mobile phone. We then click on it, since it is the section in which the phone number is stored.

Within the section we will then get our phone number and under it we get the option to delete. So we have to click on it. Facebook will then ask us to enter our password, as a verification, to show that it is really us who are making this change.

After entering the password, our phone number has been removed from Facebook. In this way, the social network no longer has this data in any way. Nor even if we enter it in the form of an application on our phone. As you can see, it is easy to achieve.
