Every time we start our Windows computer, regardless of the version, various applications are started, applications that in some cases allow us to run programs faster or drives that allow our computer to function optimally. But we also find applications that start in the start menu either because the developer thinks it is the best option for users (which mania has to think for us) or because we have configured them like this, if we always use the same application (ideal for when we use the PC to work with a specific application).
Windows 10 has considerably improved the graphical interface compared to previous versions, but basically, the procedures are the same, either via DOS commands, or through the different system configuration menus. If we see that our PC takes longer and longer to startThe best we can do is take a look at the configuration where all the applications that run when the computer starts are shown, in order to be able to filter which ones are important and which ones are not to disable them from the boot menu.
Remove applications from Windows startup
- First we go to the start button and click on the right button. We select Atask manager.
- A window with several tabs will appear. Of all the tabs we must select the Home tab.
- Below is the list of applications that are displayed when Windows starts. To eliminate or disable any of them, we go to the application in question and click on the right button.
- In the menu that is displayed we select Disable.
Now we just have to Restart your computer to check how the applications that we have uninhabited no longer start every time we start our Windows PC.
