Microsoft is working on various improvements for Windows 10. One of the improvements that could come soon is a new design for the file explorer, which has been with the same design for a while. And the truth is that it seems that we can already see what the final design of it could be. Because we have the possibility to activate it on our own computer.
It is a simple process, thanks to which we can see what the Windows 10 file explorer could be in the near future. A new explorer that leaves us with a minimalist design and very different from what it was up to now.
The only requirement that must be met in order to have this file explorer is to have an equal or higher version of Windows 10 Build 15063. Most likely, most of them already have it, so you will not have problems in this regard. So we go to the desktop and right-click and create a new shortcut.
A new window will open, in which we must write the text that comes out between quotes (without quotes) "explorer shell: AppsFolder \ c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy! App". We copy this text in the window and then we give it to next.
Now, it will ask us to give a name to this shortcut that we have created in Windows 10. You can give it the name that you want, as long as it is clear to you and you know later what is this access that you have created on the desktop. When you have done this, we are done.
We simply have to enter this new file explorer in Windows 10 later. You can see the new design that possibly comes at some point. It stands out for its minimalism, which has led many to think that it is a test design that has not yet been completed. Whether it is true or not, it is interesting to be able to see this design.
