How to close blocked apps in Windows 10

Windows 10

A very common situation that has happened to all of us on occasion is that a program crashes. No matter what application it is, it sometimes crashes completely and does not respond. Therefore, we cannot continue using this program and we have to close it. But, in many cases this does not work. So we have to use other ways to close this blocked app in Windows 10.

Although in recent versions such as Windows 10 we have functions that detect when the program crashes, the truth is that there is still a lot to improve. Because on many occasions we have a blocked application that we cannot close. Therefore, we have to resort to another system.

This system is using the task manager. A function that the vast majority of you know, but those users who are taking their first steps in the world of computers may not know. And this is a very useful function.

End Device Manager Task

All Windows 10 users can make use of the task manager if there is an application that has crashed. To do this, we have to use the key combination Control + Alt + Del. But in case Windows is locked too, a different combination is available, which is Control + Shift + Escape. In this way we access the task manager.

There we find the processes that are currently running on the computer. So we have to look for the application that has been blocked and has stopped working. When we find it, we right-click on it. We get several options, one of which is to "finish the task."

Click on that option and the program in question will be closed. In this way, we can use Windows 10 normally again and we can open this application in question again normally. So we can continue to use the equipment at all times.
