How to create shortcuts to scheduled tasks in Windows 10

Windows 10

Windows 10 gives us the ability to create shortcuts to a large number of elements in the system. In fact, we have the possibility to create a shortcut to a scheduled task in a simple way. This is what we are going to teach you next. As you know, we have a task scheduler in the operating system, which will run at a certain time on the computer. But, we may want to run them manually.

It is in these cases when we can make use of a direct access that gives us access to said scheduled task in Windows 10. Thus, if we want it, we can execute this task manually.

If we have already created or programmed this task, then we have to go to the desktop of our Windows 10 computer. There we must right click with the mouse on a free space and a contextual menu will appear. Of the options that appear in said menu, the one that we are interested in it again and then shortcut.

The wizard that will allow us to create the direct access to said task will then open. The first thing we have to do is write its location, which in this specific case will be: C: \ Windows \ System32 \ schtasks.exe / run / tn "TaskName". We must put the name of the task in the place where we have TaskName. Then we click on next.

The next thing we have to do is give this shortcut a name and then we can finish it. Next, we will see that a shortcut appears on the Windows 10 desktop. By clicking on it we will be able to go to this task that we have programmed in the computer in a very simple way.

In this way, if we want, we can execute this manually scheduled task at any time. We can use it as many times as we want on our computer.
