I am talking about the applications: Paint y Photos. Paint is the Windows image editor that has been accompanying us for many versions of Windows, so if you do not use Windows 10 and want to cut an image, you can make use of it, since it came to Windows with Windows 98, if it memory does not fail me.
Crop an image in Windows with Paint
To open an image with Paint, instead of Photos, which is the default viewer in Windows 10, we must place the mouse over the image that we want to rotate, press the right button and select the Edit option.
- The first thing to do is click on the box Select and set the area we want to trim.
- Once we have established the area that we want to cut, click on the button Cut out.
- Once the changes have been saved, click on the button to save changes.
Crop an image in Windows with Photos
To open an image in the native Windows Photos application, we just have to double click on the image that we want to open, since this is the native Windows 10 application for opening photos.
- Once we have opened the photo, click on the Edit button to access the image cropping options.
- Finally, we just have to move the sides of the image to establish which is the area of the image that we want to keep as shown in the image that heads this article.
