How to delete Wi-Fi networks that we have stored on our computer

If we are maniacs of order, and our computer is always in optimal operating and management conditions, it is likely that we also want to have the information it stores controlled at all times. If we know for sure that a Wi-Fi network to which we used to connect is no longer available and we want to eliminate it from our computer, for whatever reason, then we show you the steps to follow so that only our PC Store the networks you regularly connect to.

Taking into account that this information barely takes up space on our computer, it is not advisable to delete it, unless we know that that network in question has stopped working, either because the cafeteria has closed to the one we were going, because we have changed the router, because we have changed the phone and the name of the network that crea has changed ...

Delete old Wifi networks from our computer

  • First of all we go to the Configuring Windows, through the cogwheel that we will find on the right side of the menu that displays the Start button.
  • Next, we go to the option Network and Internet
  • Within the Network and Internet menu, we find all the options related to the Internet connection via Wi-Fi or cable. In this case, we go to the menu Wi-Fi, located in the left column.
  • In the right column we go to the option Manage known networks.
  • In the next window, a list will be displayed with all the Wi-fi networks to which we have connected at some point. All of them are stored together with their corresponding password so that when we are close, they are automatically connected.
  • To delete them we just have to click on the Wi-Fi network in question, click on the left button and select Stop remembering.
