How to protect my computer

In recent times, Microsoft has been improving the security of the latest versions of the operating systems that it has launched on the market. The improvements have not been in the form of antivirus, but have come in the form of applications, such as Windows Defender, which allow us to track our computer at all times to check if any malware or any other file of this type has crept into our PC. Of course, this application is not infallible and sometimes it is not capable of detecting all the malware, spyware and others that can sneak into PCs.

In the first place, if we do not want to face any type of risk on our PC, the best thing we can do is not visit web pages with links that allow us to download copyrighted content. These pages tend to sneak among the large amount of advertising that includes malware and spyware that easily sneak onto our PCs to steal information.

Second we must stop visiting application download web pages, such as Softonic, one of the well-known ones, where every time we download an application, it includes a large number of small applications that promise us gold and gold for us to install them, that is if we are one of those who read all the instructions.

Third, if we cannot live without accessing these types of web pages, the best we can do is download an antivirus to have protected at all times all the information that circulates from the internet to our PC, especially when we talk about link pages, without neglecting the download web pages that I have mentioned before.

Currently there are several companies that offer us functional browsers that allow us to detect and eliminate possible viruses and malware that sneak into our PC. Although the most complete as those of the Norton firm, They are the most complete and of course they are paid.

Personally I haven't used any type of antivirus on my computer for a long time, since I control the web pages that I visit a lot and when I do I am very careful analyzing any window that appears in the browser.
