The taskbar in Windows 10 is one of the most important parts of our computer, since it is the main way of interacting with it, whether to open applications, open files, modify computer settings ... or simply to see what is the date and time of day.
Within the configuration options that Microsoft makes available to us, we have the possibility of being able to move the taskbar to any side of the screen, in this way, we can add both upper and lower space in some applications. But in addition, also allows us to block it so that no one can move it.
If we regularly share our equipment with other people, and those people like to touch where they should not and the taskbar is one of their main objectives, it is likely that you have tired of having to change its position every time you access the equipment. Locking the taskbar is an excellent solution. In order to block the position of the taskbar so that no one else can change its position unless it enters the configuration options, we must perform the following steps:
- First of all, we must access the Windows 10 Configuration options, through the keyboard shortcut Key windows + i Or, we can do it through the start button and clicking on the gear wheel located just above the button to turn off the computer.
- Next we go to the button Personalization> Taskbar.
- To lock the position of the taskbar, we must mark the switch next to Lock taskbar.
From that moment on, you can do the test directly, the task bar will be locked and it will no longer be possible to change its position as if we could do so far.
