Word has become, on its own merits, the best application to create documents that we can currently find on the market, both personally and professionally. Furthermore, it has become the most popular format when creating text documents, just like the .pdf format.

However, while files in .doc format are editable, .pdf format is not, it is read only, although depending on the type of document it is, it can be partially modified. This format is used to share documents that we do not want to be modified.

  • Next, click on Save as.
  • Within this option, we have to click on Save as PDF.
  • We write the name with which we want save the file on our computer and ready.

We already have the Word document stored on our computer in .pdf format to be able to share it, preventing third parties from editing it and modifying its content. This same function it is also available in both Excel and PowerPoint.
