When we are working in an environment where more people, sometimes we don't want our colleagues to be able to take a look at it to what we are doing, especially when they approach us from behind with that intention and without making noise. If we have a laptop, the solution is very simple, since lowering the lid is unnecessary.
But if we use a desktop computer, things get complicated, since during the time it takes to find the monitor switch and turn it off, what is shown on the screen is exposed to anyone we don't want you to have access to it. Each one has to look for their utility on a day-to-day basis.
Fortunately, through a small app, we cans quickly turn off our monitor, without having to lower the non-existent cover of our PC. This small application is called Display Power Off Utility, a small application that we can download from this link.
Once we have unzipped the file, we just have to place the application on the desktop of our computer or on the taskbar, to always have it at hand when we need it. To turn off the monitor, we just have to click twice on the application so that the screen of our computer turns off.
This software takes up very little space in our team and its only function is to quickly turn off the monitor by pressing on it. Once the monitor has been turned off, to turn the screen back on, we just have to press any key on our keyboard or move the mouse.
