All operating systems make available to users a series of settings that allow visually impaired people, adapt your copy of Windows to make it easier for you to interact with your computer. Windows 10 offers us a large number of options in this regard.
Within the Windows 10 Accessibility options, Microsoft offers us a large number of options, options include Vision, Hearing and Interaction. Each of these sections has different sections. In this article we are going to show you the Color Filters section available in the Vision section.
Within the Vision section, Microsoft offers us different settings, among which we find Display, Cursor and Pointer Size, Lupta, Color Filters, High Contrast, and Narrator. We have already talked about some of these previously in Windows Noticias, but until now, we had not talked about color filters, color filters that allow colorblind people to modify the colors displayed on the screen.
To access the Color Filters, we must perform the following steps:
- First, we must access the options of Windows 10 settings, through the keyboard shortcut Windows key + i. Or, we can do it through the start button and clicking on the gear wheel located just above the button to turn off the computer.
- Next, click on Accessibility.
- In the right column, inside the section Vision, click on Color filters
Windows 10 makes available to color blind people three filters that they can select to make it easier for them to recognize colors.
- Red and green (soft green, deuteranopia)
- Red and green (soft red, protanopia)
- Blue-yellow (tritanopia)
