How to know which files are occupying our hard drive

Free space on any device is one of the most precious assets, since if we do not have space, the system does not work correctly in addition to not allowing us to install applications or simply copy new files, hence it is always convenient to perform an analysis of our PC not just to free up space but also to see which files are eating our hard drive. On the internet we can find a large number of applications that allow us to do so, but today we are talking about one in particular. We are talking about TreeSize 4.0, an application that has just be updated by adding a large number of functions.

TreeSize has always been one of my favorite applications since it is designed to analyze our hard drive looking for where the space on our computer is being used. TreeSize is in charge of carrying out a detailed analysis of our hard disk and shows us in graphical form the amount of space that each type of file occupies.

This information is ideal for know at all times if it is time to start moving our photos to an external hard drive or while we have to start deleting all the movies that we have downloaded and have already seen. This tool offers us very useful information to quickly clean our hard drive.

The launch of this fourth version, supposes the launch of the universal version, already available directly in the Windows Store. Plus now performance and process speed is much faster compared to previous versions. The interface has also improved, now offering us the information in a much simpler and more intuitive way. The only problem is that this new version is no longer compatible with Windows XP, an operating system that is no longer supported by Microsoft.
