Microsoft Research does not stop offering new services and creating new products for Microsoft. The last that we have known or at least we have known of its existence has been a Digital Memory service. This service will be a web application that will allow rescue and save the best moments of our life to be able to access it at any time without losing it.
The idea of Digital memory is similar to memory banks that are being created to fight against Alzheimer's, however their purpose will not be that but another different good or at least that we know according to the little information we have received.
Digital Memory will be created by Microsoft Research
We have known the information by chance since it has been through a job offer from Microsoft that alluded to the creation of Evoke Studio. Evoke Studio will be the Microsoft Research department that will be in charge of creating this web application, an application that will work with other Microsoft services like OneDrive, as the cloud service team will also be present. So it seems that our images, videos and audios will be safe and can be used to create new content, something that will provide the Digital Memory, but we really do not know when this will be.
At the moment we know that Memoria Digital and Evoke Studio are working but we do not know when we will get the final product nor when we will be able to make use of this Digital Memory, but we do know that it will exist. On the other hand, it must be taken into account that this service could be interesting as a practical alternative to memory banks, banks that are increasingly necessary for Alzeimer victims and that many users do not know how to obtain or create them.
Personally I think that this Microsoft Digital Memory will be special and interesting if it can be used for more things than domestic use, although We don't know what Microsoft's vision of all this has What do you think?
