The music streaming services war began after the launch of Apple Music. Shortly after the launch of this new music streaming service, Rdio had to close the doors due to the drop in the number of subscribers that no longer made the service profitable. But on the other hand, Spotify has managed to reach 30 million subscribers paid while Apple Music already has a solid base of 13 million subscribers.
Although it may not seem like it, there are more music streaming services on the market although many are considering the possibility of closing. In fact, Line closed its service, which it had bought a couple of years earlier from Nokia, at the beginning of the year, reducing the number of streaming music providers.
Google also has a streaming music service, Groove Music, a service for which we have no data about the number of current subscribers and it seems to me that we will never know. To try to encourage the hiring of this service, Microsoft has just announced that extends the free trial service, currently set at 30 days, to 60, more than enough period for users to correctly assess whether this service really interests them or not.
All users who use a valid credit card to test the service, they will get a promotional code to get an extra period of 30 more days. Normally the monthly price of the service is 9,99 euros while if we opt for the annual contract, the price will be 99,99 euros.
Groove Music gives us access to more than 40 million songs without ads of any kind with the possibility of creating playlists, favorite brands ... almost the same as we can currently do on Spotify without going any further. Groove Music is available for PC, Xbox, Windows 10 Mobile, iOS, Android, and SONOS speakers.
