A few days ago we showed you how we can connect to a Wi-Fi network with Windows 10, a very simple process that hardly requires extensive knowledge. Windows 10 has focused on make menus much more intuitive and user-friendly compared to previous versions of this operating system.

Over time, you will likely have a large number of Wi-Fi networks stored on your device. These passwords are stored on our PC and We can delete them if we know that we will not continue to use that connectionEither because we have changed the router, it was a friend's house, or simply because it was a client's house and we are not interested in having it stored.

But on other occasions, it is likely that we have changed our router password, which by default comes at the bottom of the device so that friends of others cannot access using password dictionaries, which are mainly based on the SSID name used by the routers of the main companies that offer internet.

If we find ourselves in this situation and we want to recover the password of our router, to give it to a friend or because we need to insert it in another computer, below we show you the process to be able to recover it.

Recover password of our Wi-Fi network with Windows 10

  • First of all we must click on the icon of the Wi-Fi connection of our PC.
  • In the side menu, click on See Network connections.
  • Once we locate our connection, click on the right button to access the properties of the wireless network.
  • Two services will be shown below: Connection and Security. In the second, we will find the password for our Wi-Fi network.

Keep in mind that from here we cannot change it, but it is simply information. In order to change it, we must go to the router and modify it from there, but we must bear in mind that once we change it, we must change it on all devices connected to the same network.
