Microsoft has been working for some time that all users who still make use of Windows 7 or Windowx XP, which although it seems strange there are still many, make the leap to Windows 10. A few days ago those from Redmond came to pronounce officially saying that continuing to use Windows 7 was dangerous due to the many vulnerabilities it had the already old version of your operating system.
The problem with all this is when what you say is not true, and some external company takes the colors out of you with a report that points in a totally opposite direction. And it is that the Risk Based Security company has come to the conclusion that security gaps or what is the same vulnerabilities were higher during 2016 in Windows 10 than in Windows 7.
Below we show you a graph in which it can be seen that Windows 10 had 705 vulnerabilities out of 647 found in Windows 7. Internet Explorer, as we all sensed, takes first place with nothing more and nothing less than 1.261 vulnerabilities.
This does not mean that Windows 10 is an operating system that is not secure, but it must be very clear that the new version of the operating system is in continuous development and it is normal that it has more vulnerabilities than others. Windows 7 has been on the market for a long time and after all the development time that has been invested in it, it is normal that at this point it is more secure than the new Windows.
