The Elder Scrolls 6 is in development; Todd Howard confirms it

The Elder Scrolls 6

The Elder Scrolls is one of the most epic sagas never released and in the last Skyrim we were able to face a huge open world in which we could decide our own path. One of those RPG video games that usually mark the times to come and that in each new edition more novelties are expected to fully immerse ourselves in their stories.

Todd Howard, Director of Bethesda Game Studios, has said in an interview with Geoff Keighley on the live stream at E3, that a new Elder Scrolls video game is in development. So now you can salivate, get long teeth and nerves appear in your pulse, because we will have another Elder Scrolls in the near future.

Howard said about it:

“It's kind of like having the elephant in the room, always when we talk about something, and I think it's a good thing to say to our fans in those moments, yes, of course we are developing Elder Scrolls 6. It's something we love but we have to take care of what we say, since it is still a long road ahead of us. I could sit right here and explain the game to you, and you would say "that sounds like you don't have the technology for it yet, but how long can it take? And that's something that is going to take us time, at least for what we have in mind for the game.

Howard has also confirmed something that was already known, and that is that Bethesda is working on two other projects of great dimensions apart from the new Elder Scrolls. In fact, it's something we'll know before the next Elder Scrolls is announced.

From what we already have, Bethesda is developing another game for its longest-running and most successful franchise. Nor would it be very crazy to think that we'd see a new Fallout even sooner, because the idea they have for the new Elder Scrolls requires a technology that does not exist now. A few years yet.
