For a long time we have been listening and being able to read different rumors about the possibility that Microsoft will launch a mobile device on the market, baptized with the name of Surface Phone and that it could be very similar to the devices of the Surface family that are so successful in the market. These rumors do not end up becoming a palpable reality, although in recent hours we have received new information that speaks of a new date for the launch of this smartphone.
And it is that according to several publications Microsoft, given the little success of its new Lumia, would be working again on the Surface Phone, to make it reach the market in 2017. It has also emerged that it could be available in up to 3 different versions.
Apparently these three models would be intended for very specific users. There would be a model that would be oriented to a normal user, another to a specialist in the world of telephony and with very special and specific needs, and finally the third version of the Surface Phone would be oriented as it could not be otherwise to the sector business.
Moment virtually no details are known about this new Microsoft mobile device, which could hit the market to replace the Lumia, which in recent times have seen their sales drop to historic lows. It may be too late for those of Redmond who were excited for too long with this device, but hopefully they still have time to find a niche in the market for the Surface Phone.
