These are the news in the next update of Windows 10 Mobile

Windows 10 Mobile Tablet

Windows 10 Mobile is in the doldrums, which does not mean that it will stop receiving updates. Microsoft's mobile operating system is clearly taking a business course, these devices will sooner or later be relegated to companies, especially thanks to the possibilities of Continuum and the rest of the functionalities. Companies like HP with the Elite X3 are making it very clear how far Windows 10 Mobile can go, so Microsoft is preparing a new update, Redstone 3, which will arrive next 2017 full of news that will make Windows 10 Mobile even more meaningful.

First of all, Microsoft wants to revolutionize Continuum, the Windows 10 Mobile lifeboat. Finally, it will allow you to resize it and move the windows in a coherent way when we turn our mobile device into a desktop device only with the Dock. In addition, another impediment was that the Continuum session was spoiled when the device was put to sleep, not now, the session will continue even though the device is in rest and not being used, allowing to improve the stability of the device when we are not using it, a feature that we fail to understand as it is not available from the beginning of Continuum's release.

Also, the Start Menu icons in Continuum will change considerably, and will not necessarily be the same or the same size as in Windows 10 Mobile mode. This update is expected to arrive in April next year, more than six months after the previous update. For now, Windows 10 Mobile continues to drop considerably in terms of sales and users, since the HP Elite x3 still does not necessarily take over the market, despite being an important alternative. Perhaps these new Continuum features can boost sales a bit, at least in the business environment, the new Windows 10 Mobile niche.
