Tweeten, a great successor to TweetDeck for Windows

Tweeten

A few days ago we heard the sad news of the removal of TweetDeck from Windows. Apparently Twitter does not want to continue supporting this application and will disappear in the middle of next April. This decision only affects the Windows application as the TweetDeck webapp will continue to work as well as the existing browser extensions. But frankly, users preferred TweetDeck for their desktops and not opening a browser.

Surely many of you have complained about this decision, but there is an alternative for it. This alternative is called Tweeten. Tweeten is a fork of TweetDeck, that is, an almost exact copy of the application in which name, license terms and trademarks are changed so as not to have legal problems.

Tweeten is a fork of TweetDeck that will continue on Windows

Tweeten is currently under development but already exists one application for Windows, one for Mac OS and extensions for browsers, practically for the largest ecosystems on the market. And they even announce that it will be created an application for Gnu / Linux.

As you can see in the images, both the appearance and the operation is almost the same as tweetDeck, something that users will see with a good face or at least will make many users not notice the lack of TweetDeck. In any case it seems that it is worth trying it, for this we can get it through this link, where without any registration we can download a version compatible with any Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7. We are currently the most used versions of Windows.

Of course, Twitter's decision is quite bad since TweetDeck is as famous a client as its own mobile app and closing it is a negative thing, fortunately we have Tweeten, a very interesting application that will make us not notice the lack of a much loved application What do you think? Do you think this alternative will work or will you use the web version?
