One of the functions that many users have used to be able to open the last documents in which we have worked, is called Recent Documents. Under this name, we could have access to all the documents with which we have interacted in the hours, days and even weeks. Windows 10 has wanted improve this function by adding new functions and incidentally, has changed the name.
As its name indicates, the Windows 10 timeline allows us to access all the documents and web pages that we have visited days ago, a fantastic function thate will prevent us from having to deal with the browsing history, if we do not remember the name of that website that we have visited but that we have not noted in the favorites section.
Timeline came hand in hand with the Windows 10 update for April 2018, an update that also came hand in hand with a large number of new features that we detailed at the time. In order to access the timeline, we must Click on the icon located on the right side of the Cortana search box.
By clicking on this icon, we will access the timeline where all the applications, files and web pages that we have recently visited will be displayed. If the activity shown is very high, we can make use of the search engine in the form of a magnifying glass located at the top right of the screen.
This function is ideal for all those users who make exclusive use of your equipment without sharing it with third parties, since through this function, we can know at all times that the owner of the equipment has been investing his time. This timeline, logically, can be disabled by accessing the privacy options of Windows 10.
