Windows 10 reaches a market share of 19.14% according to Net Market Share

Windows 10

Almost a year after the market launch of Windows 10 by Microsoft and after a new major update to the operating system was announced a few hours ago, we have learned that new Microsoft software continues to gain ground in the market. And it is that as Net Maket Share has announced, the new Windows already has a market share of 19.14%, already exceeding 350 million installations.

This would be without a doubt the best acceptance of an operating system in history, surpassing any other Windows, including Windows 7 or Windows XP, two of the most popular softwares in history.

These data refer to the month of June, in which growth has been very important in terms of number of users. However, it is expected that in the next monthly report the market share will grow even more because all users tend to leave updates to the last minute.

Unfortunately this market share is still a long way from Windows 7, the true king of the market that reaches 49% and where Microsoft should focus its efforts. Almost half of computer users still use Windows 7 and it would be more than interesting to convince them to definitely give way to the new Windows 10.

Below we show you the market share of each of the operating systems on the market;
