Windows 10 Cloud Minimum Requirements Revealed

Windows 10

This week we have known the confirmation of a new device from Microsoft. The device is called cloud book and it aims to compete with Google's Chrome OS and Chromebook.

To accompany this device, Microsoft will launch Windows 10 Cloud, a reduced version of Windows 10. This version is not yet available to use but it seems that it will be available shortly. We have recently learned of the minimum hardware specifications that the computer must have for Windows 10 Cloud to work. This is interesting because indirectly we will know what hardware the new CloudBook will have.

The document is not official, that is, it has not been published voluntarily by Microsoft, but we do know that it has left their computers. The hardware of the specs is minimal, that is, we can have more powerful hardware to make it work but no less.

The minimum hardware for Windows 10 Cloud is as follows:

  • Quadcore Celeron processor or better.
  • 4 Gb of ram memory.
  • 32 GB of internal storage or 64 GB for the 64-bit version.
  • The hard drive must have a fast memory technology like SSD or eMMC.
  • A battery greater than 40 Whr.
  • Possibility of having a touch screen or stylus operation.

With these specifications we can deduce that the cloudbooks will have a touch screen or will be a 2-1 computer. The weight of the device will be quite small thanks to eMMC or SSD memories.

The device's battery will be large, with an autonomy of approximately 10 hours, a great autonomy for the educational world and other worlds and areas. Despite Windows 10 Cloud offers fewer features than a normal Windows 10, it seems that it will be fully functional and suitable for certain tasks such as development or creation of office content.

You just need to know the price of Windows 10 Cloud, something that could destabilize the balance of operating systems, because if it is a low price, we could be facing a success of Windows 10 in the market, a success like that of Windows 95 Do not you think?

Requirements disclosed? Did they fall asleep too late? Or is it that the requirements are "unveiled"?
