How to reduce the brightness of the screen of our laptop

Depending on how we use our equipment and under what conditions we do it, it is likely that we will be forced to reduce the brightness of the screen of our equipment. Fortunately, in most laptops we have the option of doing it directly from the dedicated keys, something that makes the task much easier.

A few days ago, we showed you how we can make use of the function Night light, an option that allows us to fall asleep in a much easier way, yellowing the screen of our equipment, so that at bedtime, according to the experts, it is a much simpler task for us (I have tried it and it is completely true in case it is worth something to someone).

One of the advantages that it offers us, in addition, reducing the brightness of the screen, we not only find it in that it will bother our eyes less, but the battery life of our equipment will be considerably extended, as long as the battery is in good condition, since otherwise, miracles we cannot do.

Sometimes, the minimum brightness level that Windows offers us is still too much, especially if we write completely in the dark. To solve this problem, we can use the application Desktop Dimmer, an app completely free which we can find in the GitHub repository.

The operation of this application is very simple, since once we have executed it, a new icon will appear on the taskbar, on which we have to move to the right or left to increase or decrease the brightness of the screen of our equipment. The operation is as simple as that, so you have to carry out complicated processes to be able to enjoy a longer battery life while the brightness of the screen of our equipment is just and necessary.
